One day while surfing the Internet on my laptop at a cafe, I realized that I wanted to charge and view my phone without having to hold it at the same time.  I also noticed that my tablet needed to be charged as well. I started to take out the charging cables and look for charging outlets, however there were not enough outlets available and no real way to view my phone hands free as I did not have a stand on my phone's case.  

During this process of trying to prop my phone on my coffee cup, the coffee cup spilled and coffee poured all over my devices.  It then became apparent to me that there had to be a better way to charge devices.  Alas, Hubster was born.
